Suburban Lawn & Garden

Great selection, definitely my favorite location to visit. They even had Wallaroo hats that I could check out in person ahead of a beach vacation, and their pricing was even better than ordering online. Always great to support a local business as well!

This is my favorite greenhouse/nursery! The staff are always so helpful and friendly, the selection of plants are superb, as well as the layout. The pots and accessories are also really great. If you haven't been yet, you GOTTA go!

They truly have everything you need for the garden, whether you have an apartment or small yard or estate or are a landscape professional. From small houseplants to succulents to garden decor to furniture to full size trees. Everything seems to be fairly priced. Every now and then they will host a flower show, last year we saw dahlias which was cool. It's fun to drive a golf cart around with the little kids.

Suburban Lawn & Garden at 4 W 135th St is an absolute gem for anyone looking to enhance their outdoor space. The selection of plants and trees is extensive and well-maintained, but what truly sets this location apart is the exceptional staff. They are incredibly nice and consistently go out of their way to provide helpful, detailed answers to any questions, ensuring you feel confident in your choices for your garden. The expertise and friendly atmosphere make for a wonderful shopping experience, and I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone in the Kansas City area looking for high-quality greenery and top-notch service.

In the past week I have purchased six trees from Suburban Lawn & Tree from both the Leawood location and the Martin City location. I was very pleased with the customer service from the people who helped me picked out the trees (Gloria and Brad, and others) the tree planting coordinator, Suzanne, and the man who did the planting, Joel. They all did a great job. And Joel was prompt, professional, and did a fine job cleaning up after the planting. I was so happy with the whole experience. The selection of trees was wonderful and even in August, the trees look healthy. So much fun to ride around the Martin City location in a golf cart Chauffeured by the super sales people at Suburban looking at trees. The trees are beautiful and I look forward to watching them grow into lovely shade trees.
